Home improvements and repairs are all part of the home sales process. However in a divorce case, they can be a source of conflict: Who is going to pay for them? Who are they going to hire? What materials are they going to use?

The Class of 2020. Tomorrow, my oldest son, Andrew, will be receiving his diploma here at our home from one of his teachers who will be paying him a personal visit. After 13 years of carpools, tutoring, ball games, late-night finals cramming, (and maybe a few visits to the Dean's office), this is not exactly the au revoir that we'd expected!
